How to Create Multiple Random Decision Wheels
Why be limited to a single wheel? Here on spinthewheel.io you can create more than one random decision wheel.
Here is a simple tutorial guide of how to do this:
1: Locate the "Add Wheel" icon
Click/tap on it to create an additional random wheel.
2: Spin One or All Wheels
You can create up to eight wheels one on page. Note that once more than one wheel has been created, the "Spin All" button appears on the page. Press it to make all wheels spin at once.
3. Configure 'Spin All' Settings
Because you now have multiple wheels, you are able to control what happens when all wheels spin simultaneously (i.e. when you press the 'Spin All' button). To configure the "Spin All" settings, click the cog/gear icon that appeared near the "Spin All" button. From here you will see the default options for while the wheel is spinning:
These include:
- the sound to be played while the wheel is in motion
- the volume level of the during-spin sound
Additionally, click on the "Post-Spin" area and you can control what happens after all wheels have stopped spinning:
This includes:
- the post-spin sound effect
- the post-spin sound effect volume level
- the winner effects (off or on)
- the popup box title
- the option to display results horizontally (side-by-side) instead of vertically
- the type of winner animation effect (and ability to switch off)
4.Design Settings
Creating multiple wheels makes further configuration options available in the "Design" area (located in the main menu at the top of the page or in the sidebar).
By clicking "Design" you will see the following additional options:
If you:
- want the wheels on the page to be shown in a column rather than a row, use the toggle.
- do not want to let the user spin all wheels at once, use the (Show/Hide) toggle.
- do want the user to be forced to spin all the wheels at the same time (no individual wheel spinning), check the box 'Allow "Spin All" only'.
